Welcome

Twenty-One Senses is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing inclusion for children with invisible disabilities, through education and support for families and businesses in the community. All of our research-based training and resources align to the same measurable outcome: empowering people to recognize sensory disability and embrace individual differences with compassion and positivity.

Inclusion

Children with special needs are often left out of activities. We are here to bring inclusion to everyone. We host calm rooms at events, help parents work with school and outside programs to set up a plan of action for inclusion. We also offer a free database of businesses and events that are already providing accommodations, sensory hours, and adaptive programming.

Education

Onsite and virtual training about sensory sensitivities, accommodations, inclusion best practices, behavioral management as seen through a sensory and ARC (attachment, regulation competency) lenses.

Support

Sometimes you just need an empathetic ear from someone who has been there. We aim to help caretakers of kids with invisible disabilities better understand what is happening and why. Our team is made up of educators who also have sensory sensitivities themselves or are raising kids with them.
