Portsmouth Summer Kick-Off & Community Picnic

Portsmouth Library has partnered with Portsmouth Park & Recreation to join forces and kick off the summer reading program, celebrating the summer community style.  We will create a sensory environment, conscious of sensory needs, where individuals can come and reset if needed.  Allowing them to participate more fully in this joint event.  This opportunity will enable them to calm their nervous system, re-regulate, and stay longer, giving them more time to engage with others in a welcoming, fun social environment.
