Frost Fest Calm Room 2024

Twenty-One Senses will participate in Durham’s Frost Fest – Welcome to Winter Community Celebration by hosting a Calm Room in Durham, NH. This community-focused family event will kick off winter on Main Street. The calm room will be hosted in Adara Salon. All are welcome to this free, family-friendly event.

15th Annual Festival of Trees Calm Room

December 6, 2024

Twenty-One Senses will be hosting a Calm Room at the 15th Annual Festival of Trees at RIVERMILL at Dover Landing in Dover, NH. This family event will feature over 35 trees and wreathes elaborately decorated and ready to be auctioned and raffled off. The event will feature live choir performances, raffles, refreshments, Santa, and a calm room from Twenty-One Senses! This free event happens from 4-8 PM on Friday December 6, 2024.

Holly Jolly Fest Calm Room 2024

November 30, 2024, 2 – 8 PM CT

Twenty-One Senses is excited to be part of the Holly Jolly Fest & Tree Lighting this year. We will be hosting a calm room at the event at Niles Family Services. Come enjoy this free, family-friendly event and visit the calm room, which provides individuals with a welcoming place to escape when needed so they can reset, recharge, and successfully rejoin the activities. 5th Annual Celebration – Lighting the Way 2024

Join us for drinks, food, raffles, and a silent auction – all to celebrate Twenty-One Senses 5th year of creating an inclusive community for families with sensory-sensitive children. Join us for at the Mathew Bieszczat Volunteer Resource Center in Chicago, for a fun filled evening and learn how we are making our community more inclusive.

Understanding behaviors through a sensory lens: Taste Edition

November 5, 2024 – 7 – 8pm CT

Does your child struggle with eating? Are they a very picky eater or barely eats anything, except their few favorite foods? Could their actions – or lack of – be a result of sensory issues associated with the sense of taste?

Danielle is the director and a coach at Twenty-One Senses and a special needs parent. She will help you examine common behavior struggles associated with the sense of taste and provide strategies to support a positive outcome.

Twenty-One Senses is excited to create the first-ever calm space at the Skokie/Niles Fourth of July Fireworks. The calm space will provide an opportunity to get out of the large crowd, have easy access to leave if needed, and have sensory supports on-site. There will be an indoor space to get more protection from the noise with limited viewing.
